Bonnes Boucles! is a character who is taken up with their solitude and sexuality, a tragic clown who is constantly oscillating between ridiculousness and vulnerability. Alone in front of the camera, the clown undergoes a narcissistic transformation that shifts it from a sexed being, to a child, to a baby bird, to a preening young girl, to a monster. The camera sends back an empty stare, because it sees nothing. The camera stands in for an absent audience, and Bonnes Boucles! fixates on its lens, making it a concentration point, dedicating each gesture to it. Starved for a self-image, Bonnes Boucles! finally swallows the camera into their costume.

Bonnes Boucles! est un personnage au prise avec sa solitude et sa sexualité. C’est le clown tragique qui oscille constamment entre le risible et la vulnérabilité. Seul devant la caméra, sa transformation narcissique passe de l’être sexué, à l’enfant, à l’oisillon, à la jeune fille qui se fait belle et au monstre. La caméra lui renvoie un regard vide puisqu’il ne se voit pas. Lui servant d’auditoire absent, le personnage fixe la lentille comme point de concentration, lui dédiant chaque geste, affamé de sa propre image, allant, à la fin, jusqu’à engloutir celle-ci dans son costume.
